Scott's JPEG Commenter is a free JPEG commenter for Windows. This program has been designed to help us add comments (as far as those are needed) to our photo collection. This application has a very simple user interface that makes it possible for us to navigate through our entire computer directory, including external drives and portable devices, and visualize all the JPEG images that we may have. We can open any folder that has JPEG images and view them (one at a time) in a window on the left, using the internal viewer.
We can add any comment that comes to our mind, writing it in the box provided. We can write letters, numbers, and symbols. We are also allowed to switch between previous/next images, delete comments, search for a word/phrase in the comments, change the color of the user interface, view the online help file, etc. It is also possible to select a group of images and add a comment to a whole batch. If we double click on any image, our Windows image and fax viewer will open and display that image in its own screen. This program runs under Windows XP, NT; ME, 2000, 98, and 95 operating systems. |
